Referrals
Invite someone to TALOS and earn 6% of the USDC value of every prompt they ever pay for. No expiry.
How it works
- Grab your link from settings → Referrals. It looks like
usetalos.xyz/r/yourcode. - Share it. Anyone who lands on it can try TALOS right away, no account required. The link stays valid in their browser for 30 days.
- When they sign up, they're bound to you, permanently. Referrals never expire or get reassigned.
- From then on, every job they pay credits for (chat, image generation, API calls) sends 6% of its USD value to your balance.
What pays and what doesn't

Both self-paid usage and staker-allowance usage count toward referral earnings: 6% of the job's list-price value either way. Only free onboarding prompts don't pay.
Where the 6% comes from
Node pay is untouched. It comes out of the network's own cut, so the split on a referred job is:
- 72 / 22 / 6: node / treasury / you (standard)
- 82 / 12 / 6: node / treasury / you (job ran on a staked, boosted node)
Getting paid
Referral earnings land in the same pending balance as node earnings. Withdraw any time from settings, minimum $2.00, sent as USDC.
The fine print
- One referrer per account, set at signup, permanent.
- Self-referral doesn't work: your own code can't bind to you.
- Existing accounts can't be claimed retroactively; only new signups bind.
